Principal's Message
Dear Santo Niño Elementary Community,
Dear Santo Niño Families and Community, As the colorful season of fall arrives, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued partnership and support in making Santo Niño Elementary a great place for learning and growth. This time of year reminds us of the importance of gratitude, teamwork, and community spirit—all values that we proudly celebrate on our campus. At Santo Niño Elementary, we remain committed to excellence in all we do. This fall, our campus goals focus on three key areas: attendance, student achievement, and family engagement. Every school day counts—regular attendance is one of the most important factors in student success. We ask that students arrive on time each day, ready to learn, as we continue working toward our campus goal of 98% attendance or higher each week. Our teachers are guiding students to reach their academic goals through engaging lessons and high expectations. We encourage families to review student work regularly, ask questions about what they are learning, and celebrate their efforts and growth. Together, we can inspire every child to do their best and take pride in their accomplishments. We also value and appreciate the strong partnership we share with our parents and community. Your involvement—whether through volunteering, attending meetings, or supporting campus events—plays a vital role in our students’ success. Together, we build a strong foundation for learning and growth. We are also excited to announce some of our upcoming fall celebrations to everyone. On Friday, October 31, students will enjoy a fun and safe Halloween Celebration, with more details to come about costumes and class activities. Then, we invite you to join us on Friday, November 14, from 4-8 PM for our annual Fall Jamaica—an evening filled with family fun, food, games, and entertainment. This special event brings our entire community together to support our students and school programs, and we hope to see everyone there! As we move through this beautiful season, I wish all our Hornet families a joyful and restful time filled with laughter, learning, and togetherness. Thank you for your ongoing support and for helping us make Santo Niño Elementary a place where every child can shine. With gratitude, Dolores G. Flores Principal
